Connection Procedure

• You need the RU-E3 RF Unit and a power source for playback on a TV

that does not have Audio/Video inputs.

• Refer to the RU-E3 RF Unit instructions on p.28.

* All components of the supplied RU-E3 RF Unit.

Using TV/VTR with S-video compatible SCART terminal STEREO

Connection Procedure

• You need the optional PC-270 SST S-stereo SCART Cable and a power

source for playback on a TV that has a SCART terminal.

• When using TV/VIDEO with SCART terminal, use PC-170 ST SCART

cable or PC-150 SCART cable.

Selecting Video Channel

European model

xhg video channel is the channel in your area not occupied by a

broadcasting station, that may be used for playback and monitoring, (channel

30—39 selectable, European model; channel 0 or 1 selectable, Australian

model).
If you are using a TV without audio/video inputs, set both the TV and the
RF Unit to the video channel for playback. To set the video channel on the

Australian model

RU-E3, use a small flat-edge screwdriver.
