High Speed Shutter

The high speed shutter allows you to capture sports and other fast action
scenes clearly. The camera has four high speed shutter settings: 1/250th,

1/500th, 1/1000th and 1/2000th of a second. Select the correct shutter speed

according to subject speed and brightness. Normal operating speed is l/50th
of a second.

Point camera at subject and compose scene in viewfinder.

SHUTTER

Press SHUTTER button.

Press

Make your recording.

SHUTTER

Press SHUTTER button to return to normai shutter speed.

Notes:

• Use this function outdoors with bright light,

• Scenes shot with a high speed shutter will appear somewhat jerky during normal playback.

• A scene shot with the high speed shutter works best with special playback. Use a VTR capable of noise-free

special playback for best results.

• If the camera is turned off and on again, shutter setting automatically returns to normal (1/50).
