STEREO MIC & HEADPHONES Terminals

With the optional MM-200 Stereo Mixing Microphone (see p.60), you get

audio mixing capability to add background music to your recordings.

Connecting MM-200 Stereo Mixing Microphone

Pull out the camera microphone.

• Make sure the camera is turned off.
• Handle microphone by the base only and not by the foam tip.

Attach MM-200 to accessory shoe on camera.

Insert MM-200 plug in camera STEREO MIC and DC OUT

terminals.

• For details, refer to MM-200 instructions.
• When using a commercially available microphone, be sure it is a stereo

microphone.

Connecting Headphones

Connect commercially available stereo headphones to the HEADPHONES
terminal to monitor stereo sound.

• Monitoring is only possible when camera is in record or record pause

mode.

Recording Using a Tripod

Use a tripod especially in the following cases:

• Telephoto recording

• Recording during auto tracking

• Macro recording
• Self timer recording
• Interval timer recording

Note:

• Be sure to protect the viewfinder from direct sunlight, or melting of the viewfinder will occur.
