ZERO
Press and hold for at least 3 seconds to establish the zero reference
and the point where zero tracking is operational, if the auto zero tracking feature
has been enabled. The meter can be programmed to zero over the entire range
of calibration or ±2% of the range. Motion light must be extinguished for this
operation to take effect.
TARE
Press to subtract the weight of empty containers from the gross weight.
The weight subtracted is stored as a tare value and the display switches to net
weighing mode.
GROSS
NET
If a tare weight has been subtracted, the value displayed can be toggled
between gross weight and net weight by pressing this key. When tare is cleared
to zero the display automatically switches to gross weighing mode.
UNITS
Press this key to select weighing in units of pounds avoirdupois (lb)
or kilograms (kg.) The weight meter automatically adjusts the increment size to
be consistent with the number of divisions in which the meter was calibrated.
Press this key to send displayed weight and units to the serial port.
A variety of print formats can be selected when setting up the meter. Upon
successful output, first a series of dashes moving from right to left will show on
the display then the data will be sent out the serial port.
