4.5.1 Hardware Configuration Screen

The Hardware Configuration report shows various configuration settings, including the module type,
with model and revision numbers, and the power supply status. In addition, it shows information
about the types of User and Extension ports. Use this information when troubleshooting, such as
tracking down an error in a data link or the configuration. To view the Hardware Configuration
screen, see Figure 12 and follow these steps:

1. From the Main Menu, type

, "System Configuration," and press <Enter>. The System

Configuration menu appears.

2. From the System Configuration menu type

, "Hardware Configuration," and press <Enter>.

This report shows the data rate, connector type, and wavelength (if fiber) for each port; see
Figure 13.

3. To return to the System Configuration menu, press <Esc>.
