4.1.2 SFP/UTP Port Status LEDS

The Link/Activity (LNK/ACT) LEDs are located above the SFP and UTP Ports of the each port

section (see Figure 4-1). See Table 4-2 to determine the current condition of the User Ports.

4.2 Interface Management

The 9145E is managed locally through the console port and remotely either through the Manage-

ment UTP port or inband via the user port. The console port is connected to a VT-100 terminal,

through an emulation program, through the RS-232 serial port using a DE-9 cable. UTP is an out-

of-band 10/100 Mbps port supporting Telnet, SSH, and SNMP V1/V2C/V3 that is used for net-

work management.
