A Anti-Ground-Recording (in the Recording

Mode):

The Anti-Ground recording function is

meant as a guide or Indication that
irregular recording has occurred. It is up to

the user to reposition the tape so as to

remove the undesired section of the
recording. The Movie Camera only
switches the unit to Recording Pause/
Power Save Mode, and when the user
begins to operate the unit again, the “CHK"
Indication appear in the top right hand
corner of the Viewfinder.

•When you return the Movie Camera to an

approximately horizontal position, it
automatically resets to the Recording

Pause Mode, and you can start recording

again by pressing the Recording Start/Stop
Button.

•If you slowly turn the Movie Camera

downwards during recording, the

Anti-Ground-Recording Function does
not become activated.

•If you return the Movie Camera to an

approximately horizontal position, the
“CHK” (=Check) Indication flashes in the
Viewfinder. This indicates that the tape
has automatically been rewound for

approx. 1.5 seconds of recorded content.

To ensure continuity of the VITC signal

recording, be sure to briefly press the
[◄◄] Button to search joining the next

scene (p. 46), before starting to record
again.

•The Anti-Ground-Recording Function is

not intended to replace the manual
stopping of recording.

Note: When you change locations between scenes or when not planning to record for a longer period time, it

is recommended to turn off the Movie Camera with the [POWER] ON/OFF Switch.
