Transmitting documents from memory

The unit is able to scan and store documents into memory, and then transmit the stored documents.
The memory capacity is approx. 25 pages (14 pages if the Error Correction Mode on page 73 is set to ON),

based on CCITT No. 1 test chart in standard resolution. For the CCITT No, 1 test chart, see page 106.

Press (3 oi' @ to select “ON”.

• If this feature is not required, select “OFF”.

Press [START/COPY/SET].

Transmitting documents from memory

Insert the documents FACE DOWN.

Enter the telephone number by using regular

dialing, one-touch dialing, speed dialing or the
electronic telephone directory.

When using regular dialing, press
i START/COPY/SET].

•The documents will be fed into the unit and

scanned into memory.
After storing all pages, the unit will transmit the
documents.

•The amount of memory used will be shown as a

percentage on the display.

Note:
•The stored documents will be automatically erased after transmission.
•To cancel the memory transmission, press [ЭТОР ] during or after scanning the documents.

• If you select the fine, super fine or halftone resolution, the number of documents that can be sent will be

decreased.

• If the stored documents exceed the memory capacity, the transmission will be canceled.
