Peak load is the maximum load measured during the test. Temperature at peak load is only shown
if temperature probe is used.

Def@Peak is the sample deformation at the peak load. The trigger position is the zero deformation
reference point.

Work is the area under the load curve and is measured in milli joules.

Final load is the load at the target deformation.

NOTE

: It is not possible to perform tension tests with the 100g load cell.

SURIMI TEST - performs a single compression of a surimi sample until the gel ruptures. The

test result will be the distance the sample deformed before it ruptured and the peak load just prior
to the rupture. As soon as the rupture occurs the probe retracts to the HOME starting position.

NOTE:

This test is only available in CT3 instruments with load cells up to 4500g and firm-

ware version 2.0 or higher.

The operator may set the trigger value, correction value and test speed.
