12.1 Updating the Software
The latest software version to update your
Geosat is available, free of charge, from
www.avmap.it. Each software update is an
executable file with an intuitive user interface
that makes the updating operation easier.
How to check the software version in your
geosat:
To check whether your Geosat needs to
be updated, you need to establish which
software version is pre-loaded on your device
and then visit the www.avmap.it website to
check if it is the latest available version.
Press the MENU button twice to open the
Main Menu, select About and press the ENT
button to confirm. The info window details
the software and cartography information.
The software version is indicated in the first
line as V1.xx.xxxR (dd-mm-yy), while the
chart version is indicated in the second to last
line as T-EUQ-xxx.xx
The next step is to check whether there are
updates available from the support section of
www.avmap.it.

night vision option is also activated. Select
the desired option and confirm by pressing
ENT.
The Auto night vision works thanks to the
brightness sensor positioned on the back of
the navigator. The brightness of the display
is varies according to the environment
brightness, and when there is no light, the
colour palette is automatically changed to
favour an optimal and safer view.
11.15 Volume
The Geosat is equipped with a speaker
mounted at the back of the unit.
To adjust the volume:
1. Press the SPEAK button and hold for at
least 3 seconds.
2. Adjust the volume with the JOYSTICK.
3. Press SPEAK to quickly vary the volume.
