Connecting the Unit
Connecting the Power Terminal
• Always use the speeial red battery and ground
wire [RD-223], whieh is sold separately. Conneet
the battery wire direetly to the ear battery positive
terminal (+) and the ground wire to the ear body.
1. Pass the battery wire from the
engine compartment to the interior
of the vehicle.
• After making all other eonneetions to the
amplifier, eonneet the battery wire terminal
of the amplifier to the positive (+) terminal of
the battery.

Insert the O-ring rubber

2. Twist the battery wire, ground wire
and system remote control wire.

3. Attach lugs to wire ends. Lugs not
supplied.
• Use pliers, ete., to erimp lugs to wires.
4. Connect the wires to the terminal.
• Fix the wires seeurely with the terminal
serews.

Connecting the Speaker Terminals
1. Expose the end of the speaker wires
using nippers or a cutter by about
10 mm and twist.

2. Attach lugs to speaker wire ends.

• Use pliers, ete., to erimp lugs to wires.

Speeiaal rood aeeusnoer [RD-223] (los verkrijgbaar)
Sluit, nadat alle andere aansluitingen op de versterker zijn
gemaakt, het aeeusnoer-aansluitpunt van de versterker aan op
het po sitie ve aansluitpunt
(-I-) van de aeeu.
Aardingssnoer (zwart) [RD-223] (los verkrijgbaar)
Sluit dit snoer aan op de earrosserie of het ehassis.
Luidspreker-aansluitpunt
Raadpleeg het hoofdstuk
“Aansluiten van de luidspreker-
draden” voor riehtlijnen i.v.m. het
aansluiten van luidsprekers.
Draad voor systeemafstandsbediening (los verkrijgbaar)
Verbind de mannelijke aansluiting van dit draad met de aansluiting
voor de systeemafstandsbediening van de autostereo (SYSTEM
REMOTE CONTROL). Het vrouwelijke aansluitpunt kan worden
aangesloten op het relais-besturingsaansluitpunt van de automatisehe
antenne. Als de autostereo niet besehikt over een systeem-afstandsbe-
dieningsaansluitpunt, sluit dan het mannelijke aansluitpunt aan op het
spanningsaansluitpunt via de eontaetsehakelaar.
