Camera settings
This chapter describes how to configure the IP cameras.
The TVN 21(S) can support up to 16 network cameras and the TVN 21P up to 32
network cameras. The number of cameras supported depends on the recorder model
and available bandwidth.
Cameras supported
The recorder supports TruVision and UltraView IP cameras as well as TVE encoders. It
supports a wide range of third party IP cameras through compliancy with the Onvif and
PSIA standards for open camera communication.
Adding IP cameras to the recorder
Before adding an IP camera to the recorder system, it is important that the network
settings of the recorder are correctly set up.
See Figure 37 on page 122 for a description of the IP camera menu used to add and
delete cameras.
