Basic Operations

[DISP] button to switch to CT display.

If CT is not being received, “CT--:--” appears in the
display.

Note:
• CT data is not transmitted in some countries and

by some broadcast stations. Also, in some areas,
the CT may not be displayed accurately.

Switching to the navigation display

Press the [NVG/AV] button to switch to the navi-
gation display that allows you to listen to the au-
dio of TV, etc.

Press and hold the button and you can listen to the
audio of TV, etc. with the display indication turned
off.

Changing the setting of the display
background

WARNING

Perform the setting of this function the car
is stopped with the parking break applied.

1. Press the [DISP] button to show the back-

ground setup menu.

2. Touch the setting key to show the setup dis-

play.

To set up the pattern and colour of the wall
paper

2-1. Touch the [WALL PAPER] key to select

PATTERN” or “COLOR”.

2-2. Touch the [PATTERN] or [COLOR] key to

set a desired pattern or colour.

2-3. Touch a desired [PATTERN] or [COLOR]

key.

To set up the motion pattern

2-1. Touch the [MOTION PATTERN] key to set

a desired motion pattern.

2-2. Touch a desired [MOTION PATTERN] key.

To set up the sprite pattern

2-1. Touch the [SPRITE PATTERN] key to set

a desired sprite pattern.

2-2. Touch a desired [SPRITE PATTERN] key.

3. Press the [DISP] button again or touch the

[RTN] key two times to return to the STAN-
DARD display.

Listening to the radio

1. Press the [FUNC] button and select the RA-

DIO mode. The frequency or PS is displayed.

PS: Programme service name

2. Press the [BAND] button and select the radio

band. Each time the button is pressed, the ra-
dio reception band changes in the following
order:

FM1

FM2

FM3

AM (MW/LW)

FM1...

3. Press the right (

d

) or left (

a

) side of the

[SEARCH] button to tune in the desired sta-
tion.

Tuning

There are 3 types of tuning mode available, seek
tuning, manual tuning and preset tuning.

Seek tuning

There are 2 types of seek tuning: DX SEEK and
LOCAL SEEK.

DX SEEK can tune in to receivable broadcast sta-
tions; LOCAL SEEK can tune in to only broadcast
stations with a good reception condition.

1. Press the [BAND] button and select the de-

sired band. (FM or AM (MW, LW))

2. Tune in to a station.

If “MANU” is lit in the display (or when the panel
is closed, if the indication “

” is not lit) press

and hold the [BAND] button for 1 second or
longer. “MANU” in the display goes off (or when
the panel is close the indication “

” lights)

and seek tuning is now available.

If “TA” is lit in the display, TP stations are auto-
matically sought.

DX SEEK

Press the right (

d

) or left (

a

) side of the

[SEARCH] button to automatically seek a sta-
tion.

When the right (

d

) side of the [SEARCH] but-

ton is pressed, the station is sought in the di-
rection of higher frequencies; when the left (

a

)

side of the [SEARCH] button is pressed, the
station is sought in the direction of lower fre-
quencies.

When seek tuning starts, “DX SEEK” appears
in the display.
