ONLINE SOFTWARE

Once you have successfully completed the port forwarding and you have your external IP address, you

can now use your external IP address from another location (e.g. your office) to view your

baby camera.

To view the footage follow these steps:
1. Have your external IP address from home with you (from the computer that the USB receiver is

hooked up to).

2. Open up your web browser and type in the external IP address in the address bar and press enter.
3. The screen will have two options for video sizes; select a size you would like to view the

footage with.

4. Once you choose the screen size, the online viewing software will appear.
5. This screen allows you to view live footage from your baby camera from any computer with an

internet connection.

• By clicking the stop button in the bottom right corner of the viewing screen, the footage will

pause, pressing the button again (which will now be a play button) will prompt the footage to

play live again

6. Make sure you give your external IP address to people who would want to view the footage as

well. (Aunts, Uncles, Grandma and Grandpa.) To access the software all they would have to do is

type in the external IP address in their web browser as well.

STEP 7 - PORT FORWARDING AND ONLINE VIEWING

NOTE: If you would rather use a web site name instead of an IP address you can use the

DynDNS instructions to set up an account so that the cameras can be accessed by

a name like www.nadiasbaby.dyndns.org (for example).
