Motion Detection Mask

This allows you to set an area that does not detect motion at all. This

is good if you have a fan or mobile in the room you are recording in.

The camera will not detect motion within the area shaded in red.

To open the Motion detection mask menu option select “Options”

→”Motion Detection mask.”

Adjusting area:
1. Left click in the area you would like filled to put a mask on it.
2. You can click and drag and as you do so the boxes will fill, this is

good to fill large areas.

3. To take the mask off a certain area right click it and it will come

clear.

4. The picture below has a motion mask on the mobile above the

babies crib masked out. This means that when the mobile moves

the motion detection will ignore it.

1. Transparent Mask:

This option allows you to adjust whether or not the red motion mask is

see through. If you do not have this option selected the mask is a flat red

and unable to be seen through

2. Show Grid:

This option allows you to select if a grid is shown when selecting which

area detects or does not detect motion, the grid works as a

good reference

3. Clear All:

Selecting this will clear the screen of any motion mask setting

4. Mask All:

Selecting this will put a motion mask on the entire screen

5. Grid Size Adjust:

This option allows you to decide the size and amount of squares in the

grid from 4 to 40. This option is good as it allows you to mask out small

and/or large amounts of area. To adjust click and drag the tab

along the bar

6. OK:

To save exit the motion mask screen select OK

7. Cancel:

To exit the motion mask screen without saving select cancel
