The rear panel has the connections shown in the following figure.

Solid green

. You have a DSL connection. In technical terms, the DSL port is synchronized

with an ISP’s network-access device.

Blinking green

. The modem router is negotiating the best possible speed on the DSL line.

Off

. The unit is off or there is no DSL link established.

Ethernet

(1-4)

Solid green

. The LAN port has detected an Ethernet link with a device such as a computer.

Blinking green

. Data is being transmitted or received.

Off

. No link is detected on this port.

Power/

Check

Solid green

. Power is supplied to the modem router.

Blinking green

. The router is starting up.

Solid red

. The power-on self-test (POST) failed or the modem router has malfunctioned.

Off

. Power is not supplied to the modem router.
