Services – Each server can have one or more services that are available from

the server. Each server can support one or more of the following services:
• Email (SMTP) – This service is used to send email from the i.LON 100.

See Configuring the Email (SMTP) Service, below, for more information.

• WebBinder – This service is used to bind the i.LON 100 to another

server. See Configuring the WebBinder Destination Service, below, for
more information.

• LNS Uplink – This service is used to communicate with an LNS Server.

See Configuring the LNS Uplink Service, below, for more information.

• Time (SNTP) – This service is used to synchronize the time and date of

the i.LON 100 with a time server on the network.. See Configuring the
Time Service
, below, for more
information.

Configuring General LAN/WAN Properties

To configure general LAN/WAN properties for the i.LON 100, follow these steps:
1. Open

the

LAN/WAN Web page by hovering your mouse cursor over Network

and selecting LAN/WAN from the drop-down menu.

2. Select the top level of the tree (i.LON 100). The right side of the LAN/WAN

page will appear as shown in the following figure:

3. Configure the following properties (all fields marked with an asterisk require

a reboot before the new values take full effect):
LAN IP Address

Displays the IP address of the i.LON 100 used

by the Ethernet LAN connection. To change

this address, click Configure to open LAN
properties (see Configuring LAN Connection

Properties, below, for more information).

Dial-in IP Address

Displays the IP address of the i.LON 100 used
when the i.LON 100 receives a phone call via

the internal modem. To change this address,

click Configure to open modem properties
(see Configuring Modem Settings, below, for

more information).

GPRS Network IP Address Displays the IP address of the i.LON 100 used

when connected via GPRS modem. If the

i.LON 100 does not currently have a GPRS
