Ensure that the locking screw is correctly aligned with the bush in the bottom
plate of the sound level meter.
Then gently rotate the locking wheel to draw the two instruments together,
ensuring that they retain their parallel alignment.
DO NOT OVERTIGHTEN.
5.
If the measuring Instrument cannot be close coupled to the Filter Set,
connect the instruments together using the cables Indicated in Figure
8.
6.
When a recording instrument is to be used, connect it using the cables
indicated in Figure 8.
7.
Insert batteries Into the Filter Set, sound level meter, and recording
instrument following the Instructions given in Chapter 4 and the
relevant handbooks for the other instruments.
