Log Set and Coal Installation
Step 1 Before installing the log set, make sure the burner is seated correctly.
Remove the burner and check the items below (see page 30).
Mixing Tube
O-Ring
Burner Tube
Make sure the burner is
fully seated. When in
place, the pilot flame
must align directly
above the burner holes.
NOTE:
Make sure the “O” rings seal the burner
tubes to the mixing tubes.
Replace the
burner, making
sure the burner
tubes line up with
the mixing tubes.
HINT:
If the burner does not insert easily, make sure the
screws holding the rear mixing tube in place are
slightly loose. This allows the mixing tube to move
slightly and align with the burner tube.

Step 2

Place the rear log on the two
platforms at the rear of the
firebox.
Place the two pins,
included in the hardware
pack, into the burner.

These pins
insert into the
holes in the
log.
Place the front left log
stand over this pin.
