Chapter 2

VGA Port

The VGA port is used for connecting a VGA monitor. Connect the monitor’s 15-pin D-shell cable

connector to the VGA port

.

After you plug the monitor’s cable connector into the VGA port,

gently tighten the cable screws to hold the connector in place.

BIOS Setting

Configure VGA in the Chipset menu (“North Bridge Configuration” submenu) of the BIOS. Refer

to chapter 3 for more information.

Driver Installation

Install the graphics driver. Refer to chapter 4 for more information.

This jack provides maximum of 60W power and is considered a low power solution. Connect a

DC power cord to this jack. Use a power adapter with 12V DC output voltage. Using a voltage

higher than the recommended one may fail to boot the system or cause damage to the system

board.
