4. Select the suitable light setting with the arrow buttons and press

Suunto. The light

setting is set and you return to the function menu.

3.2.6. Units
This menu includes the units that are used with all the Suunto S6 functions and
settings. The settings include Time, Date, Temp, Pres, Elev, Asc/Dsc, Speed and
Slope, and they affect the way information is displayed in all the Suunto S6 modes.

Setting the time format

The time settings define whether the 12- or 24-hour display is used.

To change the time format:
1. Press

Suunto in the main display to access the function menu.

2. Scroll to

Units in the function menu and press Suunto. The Units menu is displayed.

3. Scroll to

Time and press Suunto. The time format field is activated.

4. Select the correct time format with the arrow buttons and press

Suunto. The time

format is now set.

Setting the date format

The date settings define the format in which the date is displayed. The possible
formats are:

MM.DD: Month before the day, e.g. 11.27.

DD.MM: Day before the month, e.g. 27.11.

Day: Only the day is displayed, e.g. 27.

To change the date format:
1. Press

Suunto in the main display to access the function menu.

2. Scroll to

Units in the function menu and press Suunto. The Units menu is displayed.
