3.6.3. Altitude
You can use Altitude to set the reference altitude manually. The figure will be used to
update the altitude changes (Alti) and sea level air pressure changes (Baro). (For
more information on the reference altitude, see page 31.)

To set the reference altitude:
1. Press

Suunto in the main display to access the function menu.

2. In the function menu, scroll to

Altitude with the arrow buttons and press Suunto.

The text

Reference Altitude appears on the screen, and the current reference

altitude is shown in reversed color.

3. Set the reference altitude with the arrow buttons to match the altitude of your

current location and press

Suunto. You return to the function menu.

3.6.4. Memory
You can use Memory to view the files saved in the memory of your Suunto S6 with
the SkiChrono and Chrono functions. You can also use it to erase files when you
wish to free some memory space. The memory can include up to 40 SkiChrono files
and 15 Chrono files. Each Chrono file can include 20 Split/lap times. SkiChrono files do
not have Split/lap times.
