If you are having trouble with the operation of this
unit, please try the following before seeking repair.
If these measures do not solve the problem, please
contact the store where you bought the unit or a
TASCAM Service Center.
Power will not turn ON. ª
Confirm that the batteries are not dead.

Confirm that the batteries are installed with the •
correct +/– orientations.
The unit is not responding to operations. ª
Is the • / HOLD switch set to HOLD ?
The microSD card is not recognized. ª
Confirm that the microSD card is securely •
inserted.
Playback is not possible. ª
If it is a WAV file, confirm that it is of a •
compatible sampling frequency.
If it is an MP3 file, confirm that it is of a

compatible bit-rate.
No sound is output. ª
Are headphones connected?

Is the • SPEAKER
set to OFF?
Confirm that the monitoring system is •
connected correctly.
Is the volume level of the connected monitoring

system minimized?
Is the output level of this unit minimized?

Reconfirm connections.

Check whether the recording level is too low. •
Confirm that the microSD card is not full. •
Confirm that the maximum number of files has •
not been reached.
