When placed on a table with the top panel up and
viewed from above, the microphones are pointed
up, making this setting useful for recording
meetings and other situations where you want to
record sounds from all around the unit.
Swapping the left-right channels of
the built-in microphone pair
Depending on the angles at which the
microphones are set, the recording channels of
the left and right microphones can be swapped.
When the microphone pair is open, the left
microphone should be set to the left channel and
the right microphone should be set to the right
channel. When the microphone pair is closed, the
left microphone should be set to the right channel
and the right microphone should be set to the left
channel.
1 Press the
SETUP key to open the
SETUP
menu
2 Use the + and – keys to select the
SYSTEM
menu item.
3 Press the ¯ (
Enter
) key to open the
SYS-
TEM
menu screen.
4 Use the + and – keys to select the
LR SWAP
menu item.
