Configuration

Output Processing Modes

Each analog audio output pair (Channel 1/2 and Channel 3/4) can be set
to one of the following output modes:

1, 2 (Pass) – the inputs selected for Channels 1 and 2 appear at the
analog audio output unmodified.

– 1, – 2 (both phase inverted) – the inputs selected for Channel 1 and 2
are both inverted.

– 1, 2 (Channel 1 Phase Inverted) – the input selected for Channel 1 is
inverted while Channel 2 is non-inverted.

1, – 2 (Channel 2 Phase Inverted) – the input selected for Channel 2 is
inverted while Channel 1 is non-inverted.

1 + 2, (monaural sum) – the inputs selected for Channels 1 and 2 are
reduced in level by 6 dB, summed together, and output on both chan-
nels.

1 + 2, 1 – 2 (MD D/E) – 1 + 2 to Channel 1; 1 – 2 to Channel 2, – 6 dB
mono sum to Channel 1 and – 6dB 1 – 2 decode/encode to Channel 2.

– (1 +2) (1 + 2 to Both and Phase Invert) – the inputs selected for Chan-
nels 1 and 2 are reduced in level by 6 dB, summed together, inverted,
and output on both channels.

1 kHz (Tone) – a 1 kHz tone is put on both channels at the analog audio
output with a – 20 dBFS level.

400 Hz (Tone) – a 400 Hz tone is put on both channels at the analog
audio output with a – 20 dBFS level.

Silence – digital silence is placed on both output channels.

1 + 2, 3 – the two streams chosen for Channels 1 and 2 will be summed
and sent to the Channel 1 output. The Channel 3 audio from Analog
Outputs 3/4 will be put on the Channel 2 output. In this mode, Analog
Audio Outputs 3/4 will pass its inputs for Channels 3 and 4 as selected
with the output processing control for Channels 3/4.

1 + 2, 4 – the two streams chosen for Channels 1 and 2 will be summed
and sent to the Channel 1 output. The Channel 4 audio from Channels
3/4 will be put on the Channel 2 output. In this mode, Analog Audio
Outputs 3/4 will pass its inputs for Channels 3 and 4 as selected with
the output processing control for Channels 3/4.

1/2 ID – 1/2 identification tone. A 1 kHz tone with a – 20 dBFS level
that is 2 second continuous tone on Channel 1 followed by a 6 second
continuous tone on Channel 2 (keeps repeating).
