Adding a data source to an object

Renaming or saving a copy of a schema with a new name

You can rename a schema right-clicking on a schema and then selecting one of the
following commands:

schema’s name in the N

field.

- This option should only be used if you have just created your schema and

would like to rename it.

- This option creates a copy of the schema while keeping the old one. Any

links to panels, for example, are preserved as long as the original schema exists.
However, if you delete the old version all data links will break.

OTE

If you have already used your schema to create tickers, snapshots etc., it is not recommended that
you use the R

ENAME

option, since the data entities will be affected by the name change, and data

links to objects will be broken.

Deleting schemas

To delete a schema:
1.

Right-click on the schema that is to be deleted and select the D

ELETE

command.

The D

ELETE

CHEMA

window appears and warns you that by deleting the

schema, all associated data entities (i.e. snapshots and tickers) will also be deleted.
Click Y

ES

to confirm that you want to delete the schema.
