a. Scope

This Instruction Bulletin has been designed
to supply details needed to install, start up,
and troubleshoot the Rosemount World
Class 3000 Oxygen Analyzer with HPS
3000 Heater Power Supply Field Module.

The Heater Power Supply allows the
World Class 3000 Oxygen Analyzer (Probe)
to be interfaced to a number of different and
earlier model electronic packages. These
electronic packages are not covered in this
manual. For specific information concerning
calibration and operation of the system,
refer to the Instruction Bulletin applicable to
your electronics package.

b. System

Description

The Rosemount Oxygen Analyzer (Probe) is
designed to measure the net concentration
of oxygen in an industrial process; i.e., the
oxygen remaining after all fuels have been
oxidized. The probe is permanently posi-
tioned within an exhaust duct or stack and
performs its task without the use of a sam-
pling system.
