INSTALLATION:
Lift the trim upright in front of the fireplace with the four (4) hooks pointing towards the fireplace. Slide
the hooks over their corresponding bushings (see Figures 66 & 67). Ensure the hooks are secure before
releasing the trim. The surround should be wiped with a damp cloth periodically.
REMOVAL:
Lift the trim straight up in order to unhook the notch on the hooks from the bushing. Pull the trim away
from the fireplace. Place the trim where it will not be damaged.

11. Line the ends of the
surround corners with
the marks from step
9. Move the mounting
brackets until the holes
on the surround line
up with the slots on
the mounting brackets.
When everything is lined
up, secure the surround
to the mounting brackets
with eight (8) #8 T-20
screws (see Figure 65).
Also tighten the eight (8)
screws from step 9.
12. Center the keystone
over the gap at the top
of the trim and slide it
into place. Slide the side
covers over the bottoms
of the sides so the cover
will be as low as the trim
(see Figure 65).
Secondary Installation
IMPORTANT: The trim panels or surrounds must not seal ventilation openings in the fireplace.
