Decoding Options
Decode Mode
The top of the screen will show the decode mode currently active on the Dolphin 7200 terminal.
To set the Mode, Press:
The terminal will return to the main screen after the mode is selected.
F1 - Standard Omni Hand Held Products' traditional search and decode routine. Gives full omni-
directional decoding over the whole image area.
F2 - Reduced Omni Uses the same search and decode method but only applies it to the center portion
of the image. This makes for shorter and faster search times.
F3 - Advanced Linear
Decoding (ALD) This decoding mode applies a linear search routine across the center of the image.
This menu is for setting the size of the search area. ALD is the quickest search and
decode routine, but only works on linear bar codes positioned horizontally in the
image.
