Operating the Blender

WARNING

Electrical Shock Hazard

Plug into a grounded 3 prong outlet.

Do not remove ground prong.

Do not use an adapter.

Do not use an extension cord.

Failure to follow these instructions
can result in death, fire, or
electrical shock.

NOTE: Before you use the blender for the
first time, wash the jar and cover/filler cap.

To operate the blender, proceed as follows:

1. Place the blender on a clean, dry surface.

2. Place the ingredients to be blended into

the jar and place the cover and filler cap
on the jar.

3. Plug the blender into an electric outlet.

4. Make sure the blender switch is in the

ON (I) position.

5. Place the jar onto the base. Make sure

it is securely seated. If the jar is not seat-
ed, the jar pad sensors will not allow the
blender to start.

6. Lower the Quiet Shield™.

7. To select a Program Cycle, press the

appropriate cycle button. The Run or
Pulse features can also be used at this
time. Keep in mind that using Run or
Pulse ends the selected cycle. To restart
the cycle, press the cycle button again.

Cut Hazard

Always place cover on jar when
blending.

Do not put spoon or other utensils
in jar when blending.

Failure to follow these instructions
can result in broken bones, cuts, or
other injuries.

on programming and using the

cycle buttons.

Using the Blender

8. When blending is finished, raise the Quiet

Shield™, and remove the jar to serve.

9. Clean the jar, cover, and filler cap as

directed in “Cleaning the Blender.”

NOTE: Only use the Hamilton Beach
0.95 L blender container (part number
6126-91515 as provided with the unit).
