Changing the SMTP Server Details
As well as the settings specified during server setup, you can also change
the settings that were automatically set to the default values.
To change the SMTP server settings:
1. In the server modification screen, highlight SMTP and press .
2. Highlight the setting you want to change and press .
ᮣ Server Address: Changes the address of the SMTP server.
ᮣ Port #: Changes the port number of the SMTP server. (The default
number is 25.)
ᮣ SMTP Auth: Specifies whether SMTP authentication is ON or OFF
when you send e-mail.
ᮣ Account: Changes the SMTP server account name (only when SMTP
Auth is set to ON).
ᮣ Password: Changes the SMTP server password (only when SMTP
Auth is set to ON).
ᮣ Email Address: Changes your e-mail address.
ᮣ Timeout: Changes the timeout value for SMTP server connection. (The
default setting is 60 sec.)
3. Press .
4. Highlight Yes and press .
Server Setup Options
In the server list screen, highlight the desired server and press .
Then highlight one of the options and press .
ᮣ Erase: Erases the server.
ᮣ Select Sender: Selects the server used for sending e-mail.
