3.1 Outline of Clock Generator and Controller
The clock generator and controller are the modules that have the following functions:
• CPU clock generation (including the gear function)
• Peripheral clock generation (including the gear function)
• Reset generation and cause retention
• Standby function
• Suppression of DMA request
• Built-in PLL (frequency multiplier circuit)
