▼ Power Off the System

1. Shut down the Solaris OS.

At the Solaris prompt, type:

Note –

To perform an immediate shutdown, use the stop -force -script /SYS

command. Ensure that all data is saved before entering this command.

It is not necessary to power the system off and on to perform a reset.

# shutdown -g0 -i0 -y
