Do not install the scanner at a place affected by much vibration or
where it would be unstable such as on a slope.
The scanner could fall and cause injury.

Do not leave the scanner for a long time in direct sunlight or at high
temperature such as in a car in the scorching sun.
High temperature could deform or melt the cover or could ignite the
scanner interior and result in a fire.
Plug
−
Disconnect the AC adapter from the outlet before moving the scanner.
Failure to do so could damage the power cord resulting in a fire or
electric shock, or cause the scanner to fall and cause injury.
