BATTERY INSTALLATION
Note: Each battery weighs 25 to 39 pounds each (depending on type).
Please ask for help if you do not feel capable of safely lifting that much
weight.
1.
Place the batteries in the frame. Be certain that you position the
positive (+) terminal of each battery opposite to the negative (-)
terminal of the other battery. See Figure 3.
2.
Use the screws, washers and nuts provided to connect the positive
(red) connector of each cable to the positive (+) terminal of each
battery. See Figure 5.
3.
Use the screws, washers and nuts provided to connect the negative
(black) connector of each cable to the negative (-) terminal of each
battery.
4.
Connect the connectors of each battery cable to the corresponding
connector on the battery wire harness. See Figure 3
5.
Cover the battery terminals with the protective caps provided. See
Figure 4.
6.
Fasten batteries with the Velcro
™
straps.
