q Press button 11 forwards and release the inner
compartment of the appliance.
q Connect the coiled cable to the chassis.
q Fill water tank 19 with cold fresh water. Do not fill
above max." mark.
q Fill the bean container 17 with coffee beans.
q Set power switch 1 to I.
q Return the inner compartment into original
position.
q Set function selector 2 to X.
q Press button d 3.
i The appliance is ready for use when the
illuminated ringsĂon button d 3 and on the n
button 4 are litĂgreen.
Note: If the appliance is being used for the first time or
has not been operated for a prolonged period, the first
cup of coffee will not have the full aroma.
When switched on for the first time, the water pipe
system in the appliance may have to be refilled:
q Press the n button 4.
To change the display to the desired language:
q Hold down button q on the display 6 for at least
3 seconds.
q Press button q until the display flashes.
q Select the desired language with r or s.
q Press button q to save the language.
q Press the o button.
