Canceling changes

You might make changes to the Setup parameter that you do not want to keep.

To cancel the changes that you have made, follow these steps:

1. Return to the Configuration/Setup Utility menu

2. Highlight the

Exit Without Saving

option then press

Enter

and

Y

. Then press

Enter

again.

The Setup program then clears all the changes that you made and resets the
parameters to the previous settings. These settings are the settings that were
in place when you started Setup.

Exiting Setup

When you have finished viewing the settings and making changes, press

Esc

to

return to the Configuration/Setup Utility menu. From this location, you can exit Setup
and save your changes or exit without saving your changes.

To exit Setup without saving the changes, follow these steps:

1. From the Configuration/Setup Utility menu, press the

Esc

key.

2. A dialog box appears saying "Quit without Saving (Y/N)?

Type

Y

, and then

press

Enter

.

To exit setup and save the changes, follow these steps:

1. From the Configuration/Setup Utility menu, select

Save

and

Exit Setup

.

Then, press

Enter

.

2. A dialog box appears saying "Save to CMOS and EXIT (Y/N)?

Type

Y

, and

then press

Enter

. The computer restarts using the new settings.

Note:

You also can Exit the Setup by highlighting the

Save &

Exit Setup

option or

Exit without Saving

option and

follow the dialog box directions.
