Rebuilding a RAID Array

Rebuilding is used to reconstruct an existing RAID array. It is the
process of recovering data by copying all data from one hard drive
to another. Data is then synchronized between the two hard drives.

1. Run the Intel Application Accelerator utility. If you have previously

created a RAID array, the Intel Storage Utility screen will show
that the status of RAID Volume 1 is “Normal”. The “RAID Hard
Drives” section will also show the two hard drives that are in the
array.

2. If one of the hard drives is damaged, a message on the taskbar

will appear informing you that a hard drive in the RAID volume
is missing.
