few seconds. Input the correct S

● Repeat steps 4 and 5 as necessary.

If you already know the Guide Channel for a station . . .
1– After step 3, press MULTI-FONCTIONS .
● The NUMERO GUIDE number begins blinking.
2– Enter the Guide Channel using the NUMBER keys or MULTI-
FONCTIONS

● The CHAINE number begins blinking.
3– Enter the preset position using the NUMBER keys or MULTI-
FONCTIONS
%fi, then press MULTI-FONCTIONS .
● Repeat 2 and 3 as necessary.
4– Press PROG./MENU.
When Using A Satellite
Receiver
Preparation
1– Connect the satellite receiver to the AV2 ENTREE/
DECODEUR connector on the rear of your recorder.
2– Set "SELECTION AV2" to "AUX" (

To Record Satellite Broadcasts . . .
1– Select the appropriate channel on the satellite receiver.
2– Press NUMBER key "0" and/or CHAINE +/– to set your
recorder's input mode to "AUX2".
3– Start recording (

To Record Satellite Broadcasts Using S HOW V IEW Timer
Recording . . .
1– Perform Guide Channel setting.
● In step 5 in the left column, press NUMBER key "0" and/or
CHAINE +/– to set "CHAINE" to "AUX2".

To Record Satellite Broadcasts Using Regular Timer Recording . . .
1– In step 6 on page 45, press CHAINE +/– to set the channel
position to "AUX2".
NOTES:
● When timer-recording a satellite programme, first set the
satellite receiver to the appropriate channel before the
selected programme begins and then set the satellite
receiver's timer. If your satellite receiver does not have a
timer, leave it switched on.
● (*) In some areas, cable network is provided through a cable
box connected to the recorder via the 21-pin connector. In
this case, perform the same procedure as for a satellite
receiver.
