Before performing S HOW V IEW Timer Recording:
● Be sure to read "S
HOW V IEW Setup" (

● Insert a cassette with the safety tab in place. The recorder
will come on automatically.
● Turn on the TV and select the AV mode.

The front display panel looks like this:

number of a programme
you wish to record.
● If you make a mistake,
press ANNUL. to
backspace and then
input the correct number.
The S HOW V IEW number
you enter appears on the front display panel:
The display panel can show only a 4-digit number. When
you enter the 5th digit, it replaces the previous 4-digits.

Press OK, and the S HOW V IEW
Program screen appears (if
you’re just starting out,
“Program 1” appears).
● If the number you
entered is invalid,
“ERREUR” appears on
screen and "Err" appears
on the display panel.
Press ANNUL. to backspace and input a valid
S
HOW V IEW number.
● "ERREUR= NUMERO GUIDE" appears if the Guide
Channel for the S HOW V IEW number you entered has
not been set. If the recorder is in the stop or rewind or
fast-forward mode, the "REGL.DES NUMEROS
GUIDE" screen will appear automatically. Set the
Guide Channel correctly first (

Setup"), then perform steps 1 – 3 again.
The display panel shows the programme start time.
Pressing CONTROLE PROG. changes the display to the
programme stop time, then the date and channel.
● If you’re not receiving PDC (Programme Delivery
Control), press : PDC (NUMBER key “7”) to set to
"A." (
