Disengage the timer mode.
● When lights up on the front display panel, press AUDIO
A.
● When j lights up on the front display panel, press TIMERj,
and press AUDIO A after j lights off.
● When ASAT jB lights up on the front display panel, press
SAT j.

Press PROG to access the Programme Check screen.
● To return to the previous screen after you check the
programme, press PROG again.
To cancel the programme
● Press selection keys to select a programme to be cancelled,
then press CANCEL.

Press selection keys to select a programme to be changed,
then press ENTER.

Change the settings of the desired recording options as
required.
● Refer to steps 4 - 10 in Manual Timer Programming.

Press PROG to exit the programme screen.

Set the unit to timer standby mode.
For S HOW V IEW or Manual Timer Programming
● Press TIMER j so that j lights up on the front display panel.
For On-Disc Timer Programming
● Press AUDIO A so that lights up on the front display
panel.
For Automatic Satellite Programme Recording
● Press SAT j for 2 or more seconds.
When Programmes Overlap Each Other
If APROGRAMME OVERLAPPEDB appears, you have another
programme overlapping the programme you have just made. Press
PROG. Programme Check screen appears and conflicting
programmes will be highlighted in pink.
Example: Programme 3
(you have just made) and
Programme 4 overlap
each other.

Confirm the overlapping
programmes.
NOTES:
● If you do not mind this overlap, press PROG to finish the timer
programme setting.
● Recording is performed according to the order as displayed on
the Programme Check screen. The timer programme that follows
will not be performed correctly.
To cancel the programme
Press selection keys to select a programme to be cancelled, then
press CLEAR(
o).
● ATHE TIMER PROGRAMMING SETTING WAS CANCELLEDB
appears on the TV screen for about 5 seconds, then the normal
screen resumes.
To change the programme
Press selection keys to select a programme to be changed, then
press ENTER.
● Change each setting as required.

Press ENTER to exit the Programme screen.

Press TIMER j to enter into timer standby mode.
NOTE:
When any overlaps remain after deletion and modification of
programmes, Programme Overlap list remains showing the
conflicting programmes. In such a case, repeat the procedure
above until the conflict is solved.
Check, Cancel And Change Programmes
