When Receiving A Scrambled Broadcast

Set AL-2 SELECTB to ADECODERB. (A pg. 70)

Perform steps 1 - 3 of AManual Channel SetB (A pg. 80).

Press selection keys to select the channel position
broadcasting scrambled programmes, then press ENTER twice.
The setting screen appears.

Press selection keys to select ADECODERB, then press
ENTER for confirmation.

Press selection keys to set ADECODERB to AONB, then press
ENTER.

Press SET UP to return to the Manual Channel Set screen.
● Repeat steps 3 - 6 as necessary.

Press SET UP or RETURN twice to complete the setting.
Set Stations (A)
Set station names that are registered in your unit.

Perform steps 1 - 3 of AManual Channel SetB (A pg. 80).

Press selection keys to select the channel you want to modify,
then press ENTER twice. The setting screen appears.

Press selection keys to select AIDB, then press ENTER for
confirmation.

Press selection keys to select the desired ID from the
registered station names ID (A pg. 91), then press ENTER.
● The confirmation screen appears.

Press selection keys to select AOKB, then press ENTER.

Press SET UP.
● Repeat steps 2 - 5 as necessary.

Press SET UP or RETURN twice to complete the setting.
Set Stations (B)
Set station names other than the ones registered in your unit.

Perform steps 1 - 3 of AManual Channel SetB (A pg. 80).

Press selection keys to select the channel you want to modify,
then press ENTER twice. The setting screen appears.

Press selection keys to select AIDB, then press ENTER twice
for confirmation.
● The confirmation screen appears.

Press selection keys to move the arrow to the character entry
field.

Press selection keys to select the desired characters (A–Z, 0–
9, –, Z, +,
& (space)), then press ENTER at the character
entry position.
● You can enter up to 4 letters.

Confirm the arrow is on AOKB, then press ENTER.

Press SET UP to return to the Manual Channel Set screen.
● Repeat steps 2 - 7 as necessary.

Press SET UP or RETURN twice to complete the setting.
NOTE:
The characters available for the station name (ID) are A–Z, 0–9, –,
Z, +,
& (space) (maximum of 4).
Fine-Tuning Channels Already Stored

Perform steps 1 - 3 of AManual Channel SetB (A pg. 80).

Press selection keys to select the channel you want to fine-
tune, then press ENTER twice. The setting screen appears.

Press selection keys to select AFINEB.

Press D E until the picture appears in its best quality.
● Repeat steps 2 - 4 as necessary.

Press SET UP to return to the Manual Channel Set screen.
6
Press SET UP or RETURN twice to complete the setting.
