Stop the recorder before replacing the battery.

It is preferable to use the recorder on house current (using the optional AC power adaptor) when
recording or editing. When powering the recorder with a battery, make sure to use a new alkaline dry
battery.

When using a 1GB Hi-MD disc, the continuous recording time may be shortened if you repeatedly
make short recordings.
