Turn on the amplifier and select the tape deck position.

Press POWER, and press EJECT §
fully to open the cassette holder, then
insert a cassette.

Set DIRECTION MODE (TC-RE340 only).

The deck starts playing. Adjust the volume on the amplifier.

Turn DOLBY NR to the same
Dolby system that the tape
was recorded in — B or C.
Please note that the B and C
settings on both sides are
identical during playback
since the MPX filter operates
only during recording.
