Playing Using a Timer

You can start playing a disc at any time you want by
connecting a timer (not supplied). Please also refer to
the instructions for the timer if you need help.

Last Mode Memory

The player remembers the settings last time you used
the player even if you turn off the player. When you
turn on the player again, the player is ready to play the
disc in the same way. The player remembers the
following settings:
— Play mode (Continue [page 8], Program* [page 11]

or Shuffle [page 16])

— Repeat mode (Repeat, Repeat 1 or Repeat off [page

10])

— Fading time (page 12)
— Repeating time of the Rehearsal function (page 13)
— Shift increment of the Rehearsal function (page 13)
— Playing speed (page 15)
— Setting of the VARI SPEED ON/OFF button (page

15)

* The player remembers the programmed tracks unless you

replace the disc. When you turn on the player again, you
can play the same program.

The player also remembers all the menu option
settings. For details on menu options, see page 18.
