Reducing the VCR’s power consumption
You can turn off the indicators in the display window when the VCR is off (standby mode) to
reduce the VCR’s power consumption.
Tip
• To ensure that the power consumption is at the lowest possible level, set
DECODEUR/LIGNE2 in the OPTIONS-2 menu to LIGNE2 (page 70).
Note
• When the VCR stands by for recording, the indicators in the display window
remain lit even when VEILLE ECO is set to OUI.
1 Press MENU, then select OPTIONS, then press OK.
2 Press M/m to highlight OPTIONS-2, then press OK.
3 Press M/m to select VEILLE ECO, then
press OK.
4 Press M/m to highlight OUI, then press OK.
5 Press MENU to return to the original screen.
