Using the battery pack

(3) Connect the power cord to the wall outlet.

The CHARGE lamp lights up and
charging begins. When the battery is
charged, the CHARGE lamp turns off
(normal charge). If you keep charging for
another one hour (full charge), you can
use the battery pack slightly longer.

Notes
• If you turn on the unit, charging stops. Do not turn on the unit while charging the

battery pack.

• Do not connect or disconnect the AC power adaptor while using the unit on the

battery pack. Doing so will interrupt the power supply to the unit and may damage
the floppy disk.

Note on remaining battery time indication
Remaining battery time* is displayed on the LCD screen or the TV. However, the
indication may not be displayed properly depending on conditions of use and
circumstances.
* During recording, remaining battery time indicates how long the power can be used

for recording.
During playback, it indicates how long the image can be displayed on the LCD
screen or the TV.

“InfoLITHIUM” battery pack
The “InfoLITHIUM” is a lithium ion battery pack which can exchange data with
compatible equipment about its battery consumption.
