Manual feed tray

When using the manual feed tray, the media must be fed in one sheet
at a time. If the manual feed tray runs out of media during printing,
media is automatically supplied by the media tray.

Make sure that the tray cover is properly attached to media tray.

Open the media guides.

Insert the sheet of media as far
as possible into the manual feed
tray with the side to be printed
on facing up, and then adjust the
media guides so that both sides
of media are secure.

Before loading envelopes, press them down to make sure that all
air is removed, and make sure that the folds of the flaps are firmly
pressed; otherwise, the envelopes may become wrinkled or a
media misfeed may occur.
