4. Countermeasures against Call for service Message
When a service call message such as the following is displayed and
the Attention indicator on the operation panel is lit, the printer has
detected a malfunction. Stop use of the printer and perform the
following procedure.

1 Pull the main body release lever to open and then close the
printer body.
2 If the same message remains, make a note of the displayed
error code (C xxxx in the example above).
3 Turn the main switch off ( ) and disconnect the power
cord.
4 Contact your service representative and report the error code
above.
