The following instructions show you how to enter the format for the sample
tag you see below.
Before you begin to enter the sample tag, load a roll of supplies
that is at least 1.50 inches wide and 1.50 inches long.
Begin Format Entry from the main menu.

Select Operating Mode:
Data Entry Press d .
Displays the next operating mode.
Select Operating Mode:
Format Entry Press e .
Selects Format Entry operating mode. Format
Entry is the function you use to design a format.
Enter password: _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ Type M9400 and press e .
This is the security password when you receive
your machine. The password can be changed;
check with your management for the current
password.
